European Racing Information - EuroRennen 2009

General Information

So you think you have what it takes to light the strip on fire, eh? Here are some rules for competing on the track:

  • - First, you MUST fill out a waiver to race
  • - Second, you MUST have a Snell 95 (or higher) helmet
  • - Third, your vehicle MUST have a seatbelt or restraint harness
  • - Fourth, your vehicle will need to go though tech inspection before it is allowed on track
  • - Finally, any leaking fluids may cause you to not be allowed on the track

There will be a couple of extra helmets available at the track if you don’t have one. There are no guarantees one will always be available so please bring your own if at all possible. Once you have done these things, you will be free to rip down the strip!

Coastal Plains will be selling Sunoco race fuel on site. 110 octane, 112 octane and Alcohol will be available. Prices will be determined the day of due to fluctuating market prices.

Grudge Racing & Matches

From 2:00pm - 4:30pm we will be holding all of the grudge racing sessions. Use this time to finally settle it once and for all, well.. at least until next year! Use the test n' tune track time to get your car running at its peak and then put your foe in his place. If you prefer the grit and spontaneity of street racing but could do without the jail time and other dangers, this is where you need to be.

Burnout Contest

For some reason, people just love to inhale tire smoke and cheer for the rawest of the raw, the meanest of the mean, the nastiest of the... well you get the idea. Towards the end of our program, if there are enough people interested in shaving some height off their tires, we will hold a burnout contest. Winner shall be declared by your peers in the stands. Prize is TBD.
